A Pair of Jack O'Lanterns!

It was a nice night for trick-or-treating, although there weren't too many kids around here.  But, that's alright, I still enjoyed sipping away at my mug of hot mulled apple cider.

Created two different Jack O'Lanterns for this fine All Hallows Eve.

The first was a bit of a traditional type, and I carved him in about six minutes:

The second creation took me a bit longer, maybe twenty minutes.  I also had much more fun practicing a different form of carving that I like to do:

I was considering carving Wally into it as well, but the back half of the pumpkin was not as receptive.  This is the first pumpkin I've done relief carving in.  It was a tonne of fun!

Hope you all had a wonderful Hallowe'en!
